I finally got my copy of 101 One Yard Wonders
. That is my cute little project right there!
I’m just sa proud! (said in my best Utah accent.)
Tonight, as I was finishing up my Christmas Decor, I snapped a few pics of the fun.
This first one is a picture of a the day the penguin massacred the “Dickens Choir” figurines. It was quite a battle, but Pengie triumphed in the end.
When I was little, my Grandma Hill had the most beautiful White tinsel tree.
She covered it in gold lights, gold balls, and White Doves with Gold tinsel tails.
It was Amazing!!
My Mother would always have a flocked tree.
One year she even flocked it herself..
In the back yard..
with some contraption that hooked to the Vacuum cleaner.
It was FUNNY!
Do you remember what Flock smelled like? It smelled like Christmas!!!
Last year my Lego Hair Man bought me a White tree, for $14.99, after Christmas.
My ornaments are so much happier on this tree. Look at thier smiles!!
I love this snowman…
even though he is a little creepy.
That’s his cute lady friend.
Back in the early 70’s my Mom made a bunch of felt ornaments. They came in a kit with all of the trim and sequins included. I have always loved them….even though they are a bit quirky.
They are a Christmas tradition.
I copied a few of them for my tree.
Here is Faunita- the freaky white haired angel.
and this is FiFi- The Pink Christmas Poodle!
Do you have any “special” things on your tree??
